Sony HVL - F42 Flash gun

Finally got myself a flash gun second hand from another alphanatic gun who jump ship to nikon. This flash gun is light weight, compact compare to Sony F58 flash gun and a lot cheaper. So that mean travel with it is much more easy. Beside that, it has HSS (high speed syn) function which allow photographer to use higher shutter speed (> 1/160) to shoot in bright light condition. It does has built in wireless function which is similar to F58 flash gun.

But the downside of this flash gun is that the flash power is on at Guide number 42 and the bounce angle coverage is not wide compare to F58 flash gun. Unlike F58 flash gun, F42 didn't come with a bounce card. This flash gun definitely a good beginner or a secondary flash gun. Will get myself a F58 flash gun in the future.
