Clearwater Racing Ferrari 458 GT3
Singapore based Clearwater racing started as Team Porsche Club Singapore Racing back in 2007. In 2010, the team name change from Team Porsche Club Singapore Racing to current Clearwater Racing.
Back then they were running a Lamborghini Gallardo LP-600 GT3. In year 2011, they become an official racing partner with Ferrari in Southeast Asian Region. In the deal, Ferrari would supplied them with 3 Ferrari 458 GT3 and technical support.
Since switching to Ferrari, success does follow. In 2011, the debut year of their partnership with Ferrari, they won the GT Asia series.
The success doesn't stop there, in 2012, they managed to defend the GT Asia title. In the 12th edition of MMER, they had been ranked as one of the favourite to take the title in a track consider as their home track.
However, the lady luck wasn't on their side, in the closing hours of the 12 hours race, the Ferrari had a mechanical issue which causes the car to retire from the race where they are leading. Heart break in deed but that is racing.
During the practice session, the car was left resting on the paddock area. Therefore, i took this opportunity to snap some photo of this gorgeous machine.
Every angle of this car is a work of art and by far the best looking modern Ferrari. Matching with a high revving V8 with a red line at 9000rpm, it is a match in heaven.
Too bad time is short, I didn't manage to snap any picture in the cockpit of the car as the team is packing up for the day.
