Event : KLIMS 2010 - Launching & Media Day Date : 2 Dec 2010 Location : Putra World Trade Center PWTC: Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow or more famously known as KLIMS launched on 2 Dec 2010. I was fortunate to get the Press Media Pass to the media launching day. Special thanks to Ian Khong from www.drivingmotion.com for the pass. The main concept of KLIMS 2010 is Green Technology. In conjunction with the term, many car manufacturer had bring their ECO concept car and hybrid car to the show. One of the main highlight of the day is from Honda. Honda Malaysia had launch their latest model Honda Insight hybrid car to Malaysia market. The Honda Insight will be start selling early of Feb 2011 with price at rm 98,000. Event : GRA 2010 Round 5 - Shah Alam Date : 21 Nov 2010 Location : Stadium Shah Alam, Car park Shah Alam: 1st December 2010 - Grass Racing Autosports or commonly known as GRA, held their final Round of the championship series at Shah Alam Stadium. The 2010 GRA Championships went to Marcus Chye from Team Lotus Malaysia with Ee Yoong Cherng in his Nissan Silvia in 2nd Overall and Ivan Khong from Team BFGoodrich Tires in his Subaru Impreza WRX coming in 3rd Overall. The day started with the Grass Class driver or novice class, as they set the pace of the track layout for the weekend. As usual Team Vanli's fastest driver for Grass Class William Lim in the Suzuki Swift Automatic 1400cc, won the class and took the overall championship for the Grass Class. Sean Siew from Team Gophers in his Toyota Corolla 1.6 took 2nd Overall and Fred coming in 3rd Overall in Grass Class. In Overall championship standings, William lead with Imman and Fred coming in 2nd and 3rd in the Grass Class

Event : Kendall Ace Drift Challenge 2010 - Final Date : 6-7 Nov 2010 Locaation : Stadium Hang Jebat, Malacca Malacca 6-7 November 2010 : ACE suspension with helps from DRIFT.COM.MY, held the final round of KENDALL ACE Drift Challenge 2010 in Stadium Hang Jebat Malacca. This event was mainly sponsored by KENDALL Motor Oil. KENDALL Motor Oil is an engine oil originated from USA.

The new Peugeot 207 will be competing with the like of more establish model such as Honda City and Toyota Vios.

Event : Time To Attack 2010 Sepang Round 3 Date : 31 Oct 2010 Location : Sepang International Circuit Sepang Circuit : Time has come again for some time attack action in Sepang International Circuit. To make thing more interesting, Time To Attack 2010 Round 3 is the last chance for time attack machine to claim the spot to the final invitation only round. Track condition is dry and hot which prefect to record a fast lap time. Time to beat 2:30:421 which was set by Farriz Fauzy in the Links Nissan GT-R and was the target for every time attacker. Regular participant such as Kazama Autoworks, Pentagon, both HKS silvia and Team Lotus were here to break the record time. Indeed the record was broken and it was broken by Kazama Autoworks Civic Type R with a new record time of 2:28:249. The Civic Type R was piloted by Andy Kazama himself. Event : GRA 2010 Round 4 - Mardi Serdang Date : 3 Oct 2010 Location : MAEPS Mardi Serdang MAEPS: Grass Racing Autosports held their 4th Round of the championship series at MAEPS Serdang. Sponsored by Red Line Oils, Gophers GPS, Vanli Genuine Parts, Perma Glass, BFGoodrich Tires, EcoCoats, Greenletrics, ContourHD and Acrogain this was the 2nd time that GRA held a race event there. Ivan Khong from Team BFGoodrich Tires Subaru Impreza was determined to take 1st place to close up the gap onto Championship leader Marcus Chye in his Lotus Exige Supercharged. Andy Kow teammate to Ivan in a similar Subaru Impreza took 2nd Overall with Marcus stealing 3rd on the last run from Ee Yoong Cherng in a Nissan Sylvia Turbo S14. The track was dusty, sandy and filled with pebbles or better known as gravel circuit. December 2010 : Revolution FD3S RX-7 had recorded the fastest lap 53.673 in Super Lap Battle 2010 Tsukuba and took the overall winner. This event was organized by Rev Speed Magazine. It is just slightly slower than HKS CT230R with a lap time of 53.589 sec with Nob Taniguchi as the driver which was recorded during the time attack sessions Option Magazine organizes. December 2010 : Keiichi Tsuchiya and Daijiro Inada are resigning from D1 corporation due to disagreement with D1 corporation management. It is a sad day for drift fans as both are strong personnel in drifting scene. Daijiro Inada founder of D1 and Keiichi Tsuchiya the drift king and main man in creating and promoting drift.
