Keiichi Tsuchiya Announces New Drift Series

After months of silence finally the drift king had something to cheer up the drift fans. The new drift series that he and Dai-chan is working on will be named as "Drift Muscle Series". A little weird choice of name. But nevertheless, the machine will be based on D1SL machine standard and focus more on grassroot. Track layout will be more technical rather than high speed track and favor more on smaller tight track.

It was rumors the event will kick start on 2012 but the truth is this event will kick start this year 2011. There will be 5 rounds this year. Detail as below:

1 – May 8th, Nihonkai Maze
2 – June 6th, Bihoku Highland Circuit
3 – July 17th, Nikko Circuit
4 – October 10th, Suzuka Twin
5 – November 3rd, Sportsland Sugo West
