Behind the scenes - AFOS 2011
During the event i was stationed to cover the pits activity and nearby track action. Shooting in the pit area could sometimes give you some surprises which you don't get to see often as all will be focus on the activity in the track.
You could spotted some team busying swapping new engine and getting ready for the next race.
Some team would busy checkout their tyres condition. 59.9....sorry i don't know what it mean.
And some team towing their wracked car back to the pit for emergency repair job. Such a pain accident for such a nice car.....ouch!!!
And sometimes you could spot more funny thing like this guy shoot the model back side. Sorry mister ...hahha!!

Racing car was built to be abused but sometime thing can goes wrong like the Team Arrow Lambo race car force to pit in for emergency check up.
After the incident on day 1, the Italia 458 was alive again and ready for day 2 race. Great to see her racing again.
As i walk in pit, i meet up with the lotus girls in Lotus pits. So i do take this opportunity to take 1 or 2 photo of them. Thanks girls!!

Car are rushing in and out of pit during the practice session to dial in their setup for race day.
As i make my way back to the media center for a rest, i caught up with the lotus girls again in the parking area behind the pit complex. So i take a few quick shot of them. Thanks again girls.
During the open pit walk session on Race day, AFOS had arranged series of activities such as the dancing session performed by the Race Queens. It kinda look weird ....

As cars was lining up in the starting grid, some team mechanic still doing some last minute checking to ensure the car is in tip top racing condition.
Drivers look focus and ready for the race.
A rather funny moment when a race queen tried to cheer up the driver but offering the driver a good luck kiss. At the same time, some idiot took advantage for close up back side picture....lol
