Event: KLIMS 2010 - Launching & Media Day
Date: 2 Dec 2010
Location: Putra World Trade Center

PWTC: Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow or more famously known as KLIMS launched on 2 Dec 2010. I was fortunate to get the Press Media Pass to the media launching day. Special thanks to Ian Khong from www.drivingmotion.com for the pass.

The main concept of KLIMS 2010 is Green Technology. In conjunction with the term, many car manufacturer had bring their ECO concept car and hybrid car to the show. One of the main highlight of the day is from Honda. Honda Malaysia had launch their latest model Honda Insight hybrid car to Malaysia market. The Honda Insight will be start selling early of Feb 2011 with price at rm 98,000. The famed Honda CRZ hybrid was there too in the show. The other highlight was from Proton. Proton had bought out several concept car to the show which include Hang Jebat, Hang Lekir, Emas, Hang Lekiu and Lotus Esprit. R3, proton motorsport division also bought out a turbocharged satria neo to the show. There are several interesting car on show in proton booth which include Proton Saga EV, Proton Exora and new Proton Inspira.

In Toyota booth, Toyota concept car FT86 was on the show. But it is not normal FT86 that was found on other motorshow, it is a hybrid FT86. Beside FT86, Toyota bought all their existing model to the show.

For Lexus, their had gone to luxury concept. Their bought out most of their luxury car to the show and there is a particular model that caught my attention which is IS250. Elegant and sporty in one package.

Other interesting thing from the show have to be the character from movie Transformer, Bumblebee and Batman.

Other car manufacturer on the show are Perodua, Kia, Peugeot, M7, Naza Italia, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Chevrolet.
