Sepang: It is time attack fever again. It is the last round and invitational round only. Time To Attack 2010 had come along way and when they look back on what they had achieve, it will put a big smile on them.
Since it is the last round, many invited driver are getting more serious and determine to become the fastest in Sepang. Kazama Autoworks look to defend or maybe better their record 2:28:249 lap times set in the previous round. However, all eye will be on Farriz Fauzy in the Links-Mofaz Racing Nissan GT-R. He is back for the final round. Usual contender HKS dual Lim Ken Ji and Ee Yong Cheng as well as Lotus team are present.
A special appearance by Renault where they bought out the latest hot hatch Renault Megane Rs250 cup to the event. The weather were dry and hot. So a potential fast lap time is there.
As soon started, Farriz Fauzy in the Links-Mofaz Racing Nissan GT-R smashed the previous record hold by Kazama autoworks into pieces by clocked a lap time of 2:23.609 in Supercars category running on Semi slick.
Coming second behind Farriz was Ronnie Chen driving Team Ascendant Motorsports Porsche 997 Turbo who clocked 2:25.796 in Time Attack Machines category running full slick and manage 2:30.754 in Supercars category running semi slick.
Third fastest of the day was Ling Ken Ji in HKS Time Attack Nissan Silvia S15 with a lap time of 2:26.331 in Time Attack Machines category. Follow slightly behind Ken Ji was Ee Yong Cherng with a timing of 2:26.517.
Kazama Autoworks Civic Type R with talented driver Lai Wee Sing was in fifth overall fastest and lead the NA FF category with a lap time of 2:28.763. Below are the overall standing of Time To Attack 2010.
